Prevon

For founders

A notes app for founders that keeps unannounced plans private

Prevon encrypts your notes on your own device and runs its search there too, so board prep, hiring notes and plans you have not announced never sit readable on someone else’s server. It does not send your notes to a cloud AI, and nothing you write is used to train a model.

Why this is different from your team workspace

Team tools like Notion are built for sharing, and they are good at it. That is the wrong home for the notes you are not ready to share: fundraising numbers, a performance concern, the acquisition you are weighing.

Prevon is a single-person vault. Notes are encrypted on your device with a key from your 12-word Recovery Seed, and there is no account on our side to attach them to.

How it works in practice

  • Search by meaning, on your device: ask for “the pricing idea from the March offsite” and get the note back.
  • The assistant, in beta, can file and tidy notes. Anything that changes or deletes something asks you first, and every action is logged in plain language.
  • Bring your existing notes over in one import from Notion, Evernote, Apple Notes, Obsidian, Bear or Google Keep. How importing works.

What it is not

Prevon is in a private beta and has not had an independent security audit. It is designed so that we cannot read your notes, but “designed” is the honest word until someone outside the company has checked it.

It is not a team workspace. There is no sharing, no collaboration and — in the beta — no sync between your own devices. Keep your shared docs where they are; Prevon is for the notes that should stay yours.

Prevon is in private beta.
