1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Prevon, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. You must be 13 or older to use Prevon. Remote AI features require you to be 18 or older, or 13 or older with parental consent.

2. The Free Tier

The Free tier of Prevon is provided as-is, with all core features available locally on your device. No account is required. Your notes are encrypted on your device and stored locally — we have no access to them.

3. Ghost Sync

Ghost Sync is Prevon's optional end-to-end encrypted cloud sync tier. Your data remains encrypted at all times — we never receive your decryption keys. You may cancel at any time; your local app continues working with full functionality.

Not available during the private beta. Sync is switched off for the current beta program, so nothing you write is transmitted or stored off your device while the beta runs. This section describes the service as it will operate when it ships.

4. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

Prevon is provided as-is and as-available. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, and are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of data. Our zero-knowledge architecture means we cannot access, recover, or restore your notes under any circumstances — you are responsible for maintaining your own backups and safeguarding your 12-word Recovery Seed.

5. Your Data

You retain full ownership of all content you create with Prevon. We do not claim any rights to your notes. Your data is encrypted locally — we cannot read, access, or use your note content for any purpose, including training AI models.

6. Zero-Knowledge Architecture

Prevon is designed with zero-knowledge encryption. Encryption keys are generated and stored only on your devices. We have architecture-level protections preventing us from accessing unencrypted content. This is not a policy — it is enforced by design.

7. Account Data

When Ghost Sync ships, we will store only the minimum information needed to move encrypted data between your devices — and no identifier that ties that data to you. We do not store your password or decryption keys. You must keep your 12-word Recovery Seed safe — we cannot recover it for you. Sync is switched off for the current private beta, so no such data exists today.

8. Security

We implement industry-standard cryptography (Argon2id for key derivation and XChaCha20-Poly1305 for encryption) and design our architecture to resist both remote and physical attacks. 9. Changes to Terms

We will notify you of material changes to these terms via the app and our website. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Ghost Sync for violation of these terms or abuse of the service. This does not affect your local app, which continues to function per Section 3. Sync is switched off for the current private beta.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.

12. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
