Help for Prevon Pie. Can't find your answer? Write to us and a person will reply.

I used the old Pie Notes app. How do I move my notes to Prevon Pie?

Prevon Pie is a new app, so it starts empty. Update Pie Notes to its latest version, use its option to send your notes to Prevon Pie, then open Prevon Pie and choose to bring your notes over. You will be asked for your 12 recovery words, or for a one-time code if your old vault never had words. Pie Notes is never changed and never deletes anything, so keep it until you have checked that everything arrived.

I lost my 12-word recovery phrase. Can you recover my notes?

No, and nobody can. Your notes are encrypted on your device with a key made from your phrase, and we never receive the key or a copy of your notes. If you still have the app open or unlocked on a device, back up your vault from the app now and write the phrase down somewhere safe. Without both the phrase and the device or a backup, the notes are gone.

Does Prevon Pie send my notes anywhere?

No. Notes stay on your device. The app downloads its AI model files from Hugging Face and otherwise works without a connection. The full list is in the privacy policy.

Why is the app downloading a large file?

The on-device AI runs from model files. They download on Wi-Fi or Ethernet and show a notification with a Pause button on Android. You can pause or turn off downloads in the app's settings.

My reminder or alarm did not ring.

On Android, allow notifications and the “Alarms & reminders” permission for Prevon Pie in your phone's settings, and turn off battery restrictions for the app. Without the exact-alarm permission, reminders may arrive a few minutes late.

How do I report a problem?

Use the problem-report option in the app, which shows you exactly what would be sent before anything leaves your phone, or write to us below. Please do not include your recovery phrase in any message. We will never ask for it.
